Topic: Be relevant in the house of God
Verse of the day : 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
- Relevant means to be closely connected or appropriate to what is being done.
In the old testament and new testament, many people like Abraham, Moses,
Elijah, Samuel etc and in the new testament, people like Peter, John,
Paul Apostle etc. These people had made an impact and relevance to the kingdom.
Also, in our own generation, many men of God were relevant in God’s kingdom.
Are you relevant,In house of God, In your family, In your workplace?
In your church, what you do for God, when you are not around will your absence will be felt?
In your family, are you relevant to your family so that before decision making, They will hear from you?
In your workplace, are you a good employee that make growth in the company to the extent the employer will not want to lose you?
What are you doing to be relevant in your church?
Your worship to God.
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24 - Your service to God.
for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, Ephesians 4:12 - Your Commitment is very important to God.
For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Hebrews 6:10 - Engage and bear the fruits of the soul: Bring the lost soul back to the kingdom.
“Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. Matthew 21 :43 - Sacrifice yourself: You must sacrifice your time, and your wealth to God.
Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? James 2:21
You must connect to the kingdom of God, you will be relevant and flourish in the house of God.
Prayer: Oh Lord, make me relevant in your house and in my generation in Jesus name.
