Topic: God’s Will is for You to Prosper
VERSE OF THE DAY: 3 John 1:2.
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
If you have any doubts that God wants you to prosper, you will struggle to release faith for your finances. Whatever you believe and speak will influence your financial situation. Start by confessing what God’s Word says about your finances. The scripture clearly indicates that God’s agenda is for you to prosper and be in health as your soul prospers.
As you confess what God says about you, it changes both you and your circumstances. If you have any doubt about God’s will for your prosperity, consider what God told Moses and the children of Israel about the blessings and curses before them:
Deuteronomy 28:1:
“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the
Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command
you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.”
Everything they touched would prosper. However, if they chose not to hearken unto the voice of the Lord, they would be cursed with poverty, sickness, and spiritual death (v. 15).
Poverty is a curse, just as surely as some sickness and spiritual death are sometimes products of curses. But Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.
Galatians 3:13-14:
“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in
Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit throughfaith.”
You must hold on to God’s will and believe in it so that God can
establish His covenant with you.
Prayer: Lord, redeemed me from the curse of my father’s house and my
mothers house in Jesus name. Amen.
