Foundational Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 (NKJV)
17” Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
18” Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.”
An incredible thing happens when people invite Jesus into their hearts to be Lord and Savior. God fills people with His love and reveals to people that they have been right with God. People start afresh and get a new identity in God. People are given an eternal destiny with God.
God has provided salvation and reconciliation for us through the sacrifice of His Son- Jesus Christ. We now have a new identity as a son or daughter of God. This gives us the responsibility to present to others the same offer of reconciliation with God. We are now representatives of God as His ambassadors on earth. (2 Corinthians 5:20).
You become representative of your family, your church, and of Jesus Christ to people in your community. We are to honor God.
How you respond to frustrating situations or to people who upset you, reflects either positively or negatively based on your relationship and closeness with God.
Prayer: Praise God that with Jesus in your heart, you have been made brand new, and the best is yet to Come. In Jesus Name
