Anchor Scripture: Matthew 5:14 KJV
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
We all have light switches in our house; when darkness comes, we switch on the light switch then the light comes on and we see everything clearly. In every room you have a lightswitch because you do not like darkness.
Physical life is impossible without physical light. To avoid darkness, you turn on the light switch to dispel darkness. Spiritual life is impossible without Spiritual light. Jesus is the Spiritual light.
Jesus said “I am the light of the world . And he has also given you that light so you can become light just like him. “(John 8:12 NKJV).Godly light is given to us, and you must walk in the light while you have it.
Our time on earth is both short and limited. The throne of grace will one day be displaced by the throne of judgement.
Jesus said, “I am the light of the world’ He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life” (John8:12 NKJV). Light in scripture is always symbolic of God and His holiness.
When you committed your life to Jesus Christ. You carry the light of God wherever you go. You do that when you obey Jesus’ teachings and instructions. That is what you do when you spend time with him alone in prayer. That is what you do when you face troubles and situations.
You start to reflect that light to others; Believe in the light, that you may became sons of light.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, let the light of Jesus so shine upon me that others will see the light of God in me. In Jesus precious Name. Amen
