Topic: LIVE IN THE LIGHT Part 2
Anchor scripture: “You are the light of the world”. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden (Mathew 5:14 NKJV)
Spiritually speaking there no light in the world apart from Jesus Christ. His light shines through every believer that belongs to Him. The light of Christ is not to be hidden on the earth. The light must shine out from all who belong to Him. The light must be discovered by those who are still living in darkness (Spiritual darkness) on earth. In very town and villages, where you live let the light of God reflect on you.
Jesus’ light is not to be covered up with the lives of His followers. Non-believers must see the light.
If you are follower of Christ, you should also be light among people in the darkness. You must let Jesus shine in and through you so that those living in the dark will find the light (Jesus). If you are living in places filled with unbelievers, begin to witness for Jesus and pray for people. You are a light in darkness.
In your workplace, let your light shine, people will find escaping from darkness is as easy as turning on the light. Let your light shine and that is what Jesus has called you to do.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, in Christ Jesus I am the light of the world, let that light shine in me wherever I go. In Jesus Name. Amen
