Topic: JESUS CAN SET YOU FREE
Foundational Scripture: “I will set nothing wicked before my eyes” (Psalm 101 :3 NKJV)
We are living in a world, whereby Satan is using all deceiving devises and enticing people into drug, alcohol, even Pornography addiction. This is happening in many nations around the world and the devil is leading them to early death and to hell. Drug addiction, alcohol abuse, cigarette smoking, Pornography is fast spreading across the world leaving families torn apart.
For those in the medical profession, especially those who specialize in Mental health. You will come across young teenagers, adults both men and women addicted to drugs and alcohol which ruined their life, and this ongoing habit is still spreading. You will be surprised to know that even church goers are secretly isolated and helpless with this bad habit. You see patients who even carry along thier Pornography magazines to hospital. The devil has kept them in terrible captivity.
Solution remains for those affected by drug, alcohol, Pornography, chain smokers to turn to God and repent. Jesus can deliver and set you free. If you are secretly harboring addiction habits, this calls for commitment on your part to irradicate this habit. You can turn to a mature Christian who can support you in time of testing. If you are not a regular church goer, attend church so that you can get support and help.
Apostle Paul wrote “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:1-2 NKJV).
“For this purpose, the Son of God (Jesus) was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8NKJV).“So, if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. “(John8:36). You do not have to live in bondage to addictions. Come to Jesus, He can set you free. Do not let the devil take you to hell before your time. Repent before it’s too late.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I ask for your mercy and compassionate upon people who have habit of addiction to set them free in the Name of your Precious Son Jesus Christ, Amen
