Topic: A CHEERFUL GIVER – REAP REWARDS – Part 2
Anchor Scripture: “Give, and it shall be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into you bosom” (Luke 6:38 NKJV).
When you give your time and resources, without expecting in return, you are putting in action what Jesus preached. “Freely you have received, freely give” (Mathew 10:8 NKJV).
Think of the goodness of God (Ref to Psalm 103:1-5) and this will lead you to be grateful. Gratitude will lead you to give.
Cheerful givers are people who have received the grace of God. By faith you have received salvation of Jesus Christ. By faith, you know that everything you are and have come from Him. When you pay attention to the needs of others, God will pay attention to your needs.
You decide according to what you have. You decide it in your heart and God loves it when people give from the heart and give wisely. One gives freely and yet grows all the richer. Another withholds what he should give and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessings will be enriched and the one who refreshes others will be refreshed
“There is one who scatters yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty” “The generous soul. will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself” (Proverb 11:24-25 NKJV).
You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way. When you give, you get more, then you give more. “While you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God” (2 Corinthians 9:11 NKJV).
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am thankful for what you have done for me through Your Son Jesus Christ, I will pour into the life of others and to advance your kingdom on earth. I will be enriched in Jesus Name. Amen
