Topic: YOUR MIND IS THE BATTLE GROUND
Bible Text: Do not conform to the ways of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.” – Romans 12:2
The Goodness of God is unquestionable and unchanging.
As a child of God, you must Ask the Holy Spirit to lift your eyes above your circumstances and take in the unchanging nature of the Father; notice that He is good, He is faithful, He is our strength when we feel weak. My circumstances do not change His character. He remains the same, yesterday, today, and forever.
He is faithful, His mercy never fails, and He is present with us always. Saying this truth sets our hearts on the things above. Noticing His nearness, speaking of God’s faithfulness, and worshipping can shift seasons and at the very least give you the much-needed rest and strength to keep pushing through the tough time you are in.
Your mind is the battle ground- if you must win the battles of life, you must meditate on the goodness of God. Remain positive- have the mind of Christ and watch God help you win your battles.
Prayer: Lord help me to stay away from the things of the world I want to grow closer to you and to do the things of Christ always in my life
