TOPIC: THE GOD OF SUPERNATURAL AND UNNATURAL SUPPLIES
Bible Text: And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
Luke 5:6.
It is absolutely clear that our God is the God of supernatural supplies; He is the God of unnatural supplies; He is the God of supplies beyond normal.
In Scriptures, there are examples where God showed Himself as the God of supernatural supplies.
First, in 1 Kings 17:1-6, God directed Elijah to the Cherith Brook and fed him by the ministry of a raven. That was not a normal supply. That was a supernatural supply.
Second, the widow of Zarephath was miraculously sustained by God (1 Kings 17:13-16). There was famine in the land and Elijah told the widow to make him a meal first, and that her barrel of meal shall not waste neither shall the cruse of oil fail until God sends rain on the earth (1 Kings 17:14).
You see, we saw the God of unnatural supplies at work. The widow’s food could not finish until it rained in Israel. That was not a natural supply.
Third, the God of unnatural supplies showed up for Peter in the supernatural supply at a lake in Capernaum when it was time to pay tax (Matthew 17:24-27). Jesus sent Peter to the sea to cast a hook, and he brought money from the mouth of a fish. That was not a normal supply. That was a supernatural supply.
Fourth, the harvest of a great multitude of fishes at the Gennesaret Lake shows the God of unnatural supplies at work. Peter had toiled all night but caught nothing. Jesus told Peter to launch his net into the deep for a draught; and when Peter obeyed, there was a harvest of a great multitude of fishes and the net brake. Again, that was not a normal supply.
Beloved, God is the same yesterday, today and forever. What God did for one, He is ready to do for others. And I decree to you in this season of Victory that the God of supernatural and unnatural supplies will manifest Himself in your life, in Jesus’ Name.
1. Put your trust wholly in the God of Unnatural supplies to prove Himself in your life.
2. Follow the principles that provoke the supernatural supplies of God.
PRAYER: Thank You LORD, for revealing Yourself to me as the God of supernatural, unnatural supplies. I receive the grace to practice the Scriptural principles that provoke supernatural supplies in my life, O LORD, in Jesus’ Name.
