Topic: YIELD TO THE FINISHED WORKS OF GRACE

Scripture
GALATIANS 3:1-3
O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

There are many Christians who are saved by grace but then after some times, they begin to behave as if they have been saved by thier own works and righteousness, forgetting the finished works of Christ on the cross. This was the error of the Galatian church which Paul seeks to correct in his Epistle to the Galatians. Paul answers this provocative question in Galatians. 3:11, The just shall live by faith.” We are saved by faith; we live by faith, we are saved by faith in the finished works of Christ.

It is sometimes hard to keep a balance between the teaching of Paul and of James. James says in Jas. 2:14, “What doth it profit. my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?” Jas. 2:20, “But wilt thou know, 0 vain man, that faith without works is dead?” When you got born again, you receive the very life and nature of God into your spirit. Your spirit is now one with the Holy Spirit. It is vital to yield to this very life in your spirit. Once you are yielded, you will experience limitless possibilities.
As you are saved by faith- So you must maintain your salvation by walking in the spirit and not in the flesh.

PRAYER
Today I declare the anointing of God is upon me, it is transforming my day and life, bringing the favour of God for greater levels and blessings beyond my imagination in Jesus name.
