Topic: You shall Succeed
Scripture:
Joshua 1:8 KJV
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Success is hitting the mark. It is actualizing your goals, visions and aspiration.
You must be determine to succeed as a child of God. And commitment is one of the essentials for success.
The world has never seen a great leader who lacked commitment.
To succeed you must fix your eyes on the big picture; your goals.
Commitment means different things to different people:
To a boxer, its getting off the mat.
To the marathoner, its running another ten miles.
To the soldier, its going over the hill.
To the missionary, its saying good-bye to your own comfort.
To the leader, its all that and more because everyone you lead is depending on you.
If you want to be an effective leader, you have to be committed.
True commitment inspires and attracts people. It shows them that you have conviction. They will believe in you only if you believe in your cause. People buy into the leader, then the vision.
Commitment starts in the heart. Commitment always preceded achievement.
Look into your heart to see if You’re really committed. commitment is tested by action.
The only real measure of commitment is action. Nothing is easier than saying words. Nothing is harder than living them day after day.
How are you doing when it comes to following through on your commitments?
Commitment opens the door to achievement.
You will face plenty of obstacles and opposites. And there will be times when commitment is the only thing that carries you forward.
Commitment is the enemy of resistance.
Commitment is the serious promise to press on and to get up, no matter how many times you are knocked down.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, give me the courage and commitment to push forward and keep moving until I reach the goal in Jesus Name.
