IT IS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD
SCRIPTURE; Proverbs 19:16 KJV
He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.
Some times doing the right things may make you look weak and stupid but at the end, it pays off and you stand out.
In the world that we live in today, many find it easier to compromise, join the world and do the wrong things because it’s popular or it’s the in thing, but the Bible clearly states that there is a way that seems right but may lead to death.
Our anchor scripture makes it clear that keeping the commandment of God is equal to keeping or saving your own life. You must be determined enough not to allow yourself to be misled no matter the matter. You must
– make a decision to always do the right thing even when it’s not trending
– Stand your ground on doing right and stand with those that are right
– Avoid compromise that will lead you to sin
– Follow the commandments of God and take your stand as a Christian always
– Integrity should be your watchword at all times.
It may not be popular but if it’s the right thing, then that’s the way to go. Do not follow the multitude to commit evil, it will not help you and at the end it always leads to regrets.
Child of God, in this new year stand out, and God will make you stand out in life in Jesus name. Always remember that Being on the side of God is for your own good.
Prayer
Lord, in this world full of compromise and sin, help me and give me the power to stand out for what is right always in Jesus name.
