JEALOUSY IS A KILLER
Verse of the Day: Proverbs 27:4
“Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy (jealousy)”
It was jealousy that made Cain kill his brother Abel in the book of Genesis. Jealousy is stronger than rage. But jealousy triggers excessive rage. Proverbs 6:34-35
“For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance. He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.”
Jealousy is that spirit that makes you never to be satisfied with what you have but instead always envying what someone else has and want to compete with them always. Jealousy is an evil spirit that leads people into unhealthy competition and betrayal.
Jealousy can affect your health – run away from it – Proverbs 14:30.
Envy defiles you and can lead to bitterness
Envy can kill you – “Resentment kills a fool, and envy slays the simple.” Job 5:2 NIV
Be happy with where you are, be happy and content with who you are and what you have and you will enjoy peace and long life!
Jealousy can land you in hell fire.
God has not called us to be jealousy of one another but to be provoked to love and compliment one another.
Prayer:
Oh Lord search my heart and uproot from my heart any seed of jealousy in Jesus name. Lord fill my heart with deep love in Jesus name
