THE PROMISE SHALL COME TO PASS
Scripture: Luke 1:45 KJV
“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.”
Virgin Mary though a Virgin simply believed the promise made to her by God through the Angel and she became pregnant. Now when she visited Elizabeth, her relative who had been barren for years but at last pregnant at old age, she made the above statement because she has a similar testimony of getting pregnant at her age when it was humanly impossible because she believed God.
Today, I want to encourage you to believe; have faith that that request you made will come to pass for faithful is our God. What He promises He does. You do not need to do something incredible to prove that you believe just believe God’s promises in His word. Our Saviour Jesus confirmed it here: “For this reason I tell you: when you pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for.”
Mark 11:24 GNB. The secret is believing without doubt even when it is not there and not worry about it any more.
Have you prayed for a certain job and sent in your application? Just believe you will have it; it may not be with the company you had in mind though but you will surely have it anyway.
Pray like: Oh Lord, I believe you are able to perform what you have promised, help my secret and presumptuous unbelief. I am blessed. I receive answer to my petitions in Jesus name.
