Topic: GOD’S CREATIVE POWER FOR FINANCE.
VERSE OF THE DAY: Deuteronomy 8:18 “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” God wants to be involved in your finances.
Throughout the Bible, God speaks extensively about financial matters. In the Old Testament, currency consisted of silver, gold, land, crops, and herds of animals. Investments were measured in barns filled with hay and storehouses filled with grain for sowing and feeding livestock.
Abram was very rich in livestock, silver, and gold. — **Genesis 13:2** This was the currency of that time. Today, we use paper money, credit cards, and electronic banking, but the principles remain the same: we trade these resources for what we want or need. Abraham listened to God, and as a result, God blessed and prospered him. He learned the spiritual principles of prosperity firsthand.
God wants to be involved in your finances as well. **Principles of Abraham’s Prosperity:** 1. He listened to and obeyed God. — **Genesis 12:1-4** 2. He honored God, who prospered him. — **Genesis 12:7** 3. He was generous and avoided strife. — **Genesis 13:5-9** 4. He was compassionate towards others. — **Genesis 18:24-33** If you want God to be involved in your finances and to prosper you, you must honor these basic principles. Giving to God and being generous to others are part of the spiritual law.
Prayer: Lord, bless and prosper the works of my hands in Jesus name. Amen.
