Topic: GOD WILL DO A NEW THING
Foundational Scripture: “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold I will do a new thing—-(Isaiah 43:18-19 NKJV)
God has a fresh start for you. Do not allow the pain, troubles you have gone through in the past cloud your vision and think of the blessings God has for you in the future. God says“Behold, I will do a new thing” (V19)
If you have been hurt by old relationships, let down by your trusted friends, God has new ones in store for you. Whatever you have gone through in the past, do not look behind; Jesus has already died for them.
The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite, I have provided Myself a king among his sons (1 Samuel 16:1 NKJV).
Stop pondering in the past, instead look forward to the blessings of God for your future. (See Romans 8:31-39). Despite having gone through pain or disappointments, always walk in love.
“Peter came to Him and said,” Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times? “Jesus said to him” Seventy times Seven” (Mathew18:21-22 NKJV). To have peace and joy, you must forgive and keep on forgiving until your past failures lose their grip on you. If you do that, God has a new thing for you.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am not dwelling on my past failures, I am looking to you in anticipation of a new thing that you have in store for me. In Jesus Name. Amen.
