TOPIC: PRAYER WORKS
Bible text: 1 John 5:14-15 KJV
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: [15] And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
Prayer is not only a weapon for battle when we pray to God through the holy spirit miracles also happen.
The healing that occurred or the dead that was raised or the lions’mouths that were close or provisions that were made is all as a result of prayer.
A man or woman of prayer can also transforms nations. God says in
2 Chronicle 7 v 17
If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turns from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Jesus invites us to tap into the unlimited power of God through prayer. God said
ask and it will be given to you seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you for everyone who asks receives. Mathew 7v 7
You have not received because you have not asked.
Many Christians only know how to complain and get depressed rather than taking the matter to God in Prayer. This August- learn to pray. Stop complaining. Stop getting depressed. Leave that matter in the hands of God in the place of prayer and see how God will take care of you. God loves you and he wants to answer your prayers. A closed mouth is a closed destiny- therefore Pray.

Heavenly father thank you for always listening to our cry and for always being ready to give us according to your will. As I pray- I know my prayers are answered in Jesus Name. Amen.
