Bible Text: Hebrews 12 v 28
Let us have grace whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
To worship God in truth is to come into the presence of God with a healthy and fearful soul. Let us have grace, where we can serve God acceptably with reverence and fear. For our God is a consuming fire. Reverence carries a positive implication, describing a sense of adoration as we perceive the majesty of God.
Godly fear is a sense of great appreciation.
In fearing God we see the power and holiness of God who is a consuming fire. That means our God have the power to destroy our sins and our enemies.
True worship demands a clear awareness of God’s holiness and a pure and righteous heart .
Let us make our mind to worship God with a right attitude that will make us receive a touch from Him every time we enter into his presence.
Appearing before God with Holy Reverence opens the door for access to the secrets and the blessings of Almighty God. Learn enter his presence with reverence, thanksgiving and a greatful heart.
Prayer: Oh Lord, help me to always approach your presence with holy reverence and fear. Give me access to the Blessings that come with worship in Jesus Name. Amen
