Topic: SOUL HARVESTERS ON THE BATTLEFIELD
Scripture: Matthew 9:35-38,
35 And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few; 38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
“Lord Jesus, I decree right now in the name of Jesus according to Your Word that I will grow, I will reap, I will harvest. Lord, use my mouth to bring healing, to bring encouragement, to bring prophetic words, to lift up those that are discouraged. In the name of Jesus, I declare this year I will win souls for Christ.
Soul winning is part of the GREAT COMMISSION (Mark 16:15). The bigger picture is to make disciples of course (Matthew 28:18-20), but only one who is saved first can be a disciple. It’s WISE to win souls (Proverbs 11:3). Evangelism is PROTECTIVE ARMOUR (Ephesians 6:15).
Soul winning is the only activity recorded in the Bible to bring joy in heaven. It means that each time you win a soul, heaven rejoices and there is celebration because a soul has just been snatched from the pit of hell.
Beloved, make it a constant duty to preach the word within season and out of season.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, I decree right now in the name of Jesus according to Your Word that I will grow, I will reap, I will harvest. Lord, use my mouth to bring healing, to bring encouragement, to bring prophetic words, to lift up those that are discouraged. Dear Heavenly Father; touch one’s life, with great power to accept you as their personal Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.
