Topic: THE POWER OF “EVEN IF”
Scripture
Psalm 105:15, Saying Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophet no harm.
Message
In Daniel 3:1-30; Three brave Hebrews turned their “What If” into an “Even If.” When King Nebuchadnezzar’s armies conquered Judah, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were among those taken away from their homes and families and carried off to Babylon. They lost their names and perhaps their manhood to be placed in the King’s service. But they didn’t lose their identities. They were God’s chosen people and servants of the most high God. When Nebuchadnezzar demanded they worship his golden Idol or be thrown into the fiery furnace, they responded, Not With, “What If”…?” But with “Even If” God doesn’t rescue us. Read their words!! “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from your majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up ” (Daniel 3: 17-18). Don’t you want that kind of faith? Even if the worst thing happens to you; I will trust the Lord. I will stand true.
You must get Biblical principles; that helps you turn the, ” What If” worries into “Even If” courage. Treat His Words as Commands. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego faithfully served King Nebuchadnezzar. They would rise to the top of the class. But they put God FIRST and obeyed the commandment to have no other gods before Him. In Matthew 6, Jesus told us not to worry about what to wear, what to eat, and drink. He concluded with, “So do not worry about tomorrow “(Matthew 6:36). Paul said, ” Don’t worry about anything” ( Philippians 4:6). The men who cast the three Hebrews into the fiery furnace were themselves consumed by the flames. Likewise the accuser of the brethren (Satan) and his agents are consumed by the flames of God’s judgement in Revelation… There was a forth man in the midst of the flames and he was like unto the Son of God. Dear God, please give us a humble hearts today, to Yield to your instructions at all times, so that we can prosper. Help us to obey you and let us be flexible, and have love in our hearts for the Holy Spirit guidance. Let’s us follow when you lead us, and let us be willing to receive your blessings In Jesus’Name. amen.
Prayer
Look kindly upon us and increase your Mercy in us, so that in difficult moments, we may not despair nor become despondent but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself”. Build a fence around us, and shield us from our enemies in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
