Topic: THERE IS POWER IN PRAISE (2)
Scripture:
PSALMS 100:4
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Praise is a powerful force that will guarantee heavens attention and intervention. Praise ought to be your way of life because the scripture has told us that the protocol of access to the very presence of God is praise and worship. In today’s devotion I want to highlights some practical ways to develop a culture of praise and worship in our lives. It is possible to incorporate Praise into your everyday life and experience the enriching benefits and power of praise. Turn on praise music while you clean the house. Turn on praise music while you are in the car. Turn on praise music while you are cooking in the kitchen. Turn on praise music while you are sitting on the porch. Listen to praise and worship songs as you walk on the road Listen to praise songs while you jug and while relaxing in your room. Praise Him before your Prayer or Bible Study time. You can sing to God before you pray. Praise God before you open your Bible. Turn on praise music as you are driving to church. Praise has the power to break through the heart of man and connect man’s spirit to the Holy Spirit. Make a quality decision to till up the soil of your heart with praise, and then allow God to plant His words into a fresh soil of your heart. Praise changes you. Being in the midst of worship, transforms you, melts the hardness of heart, and brings you to a place of repentance. Praise brings restoration. Praise changes heart, mindset. Praise shifts our focus from us to the Lord, our problems to the solution, from pain to the promise and from hurt to the promise.
