1CHRONICLES 4:9-10
And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
Do you know that what is on the inside of you is greater than what is behind or around you? One of the keys to advancement in life, is to recognize and realize that you are bigger, better and greater than your trials. Jabez’s mother called him ‘’pain, grief, sorrow.’’ It was the pain of Jabez past and the possibilities of his future realities that drove him to seek the face of God for a destiny recovery and transformation. Sometimes you might need to change your name. Your greatness is in you, and you must see it. You are not what people call you; rather you’re what you answer to. In 1Samuel 35:18 Benoni’s mother named him son of sorrow, but his father named him Benjamin. You are not a product of your parent’s tragedy but rather a show piece of God’s grace. Most names are given based on the circumstances of parents or emotional state at the time. Whatever your name is, what you call yourself or allow others to call you is what really matters? I want you to realize that you are greater than your trials and circumstance.
PRAYER
Greater is he that is in me, than he that is in the world. I declare greater grace on my life in Jesus Name.
