GOD’S KINGDOM CAN NEVER BE OVERTHROWN
Scripture: Matthew 16:18-19 KJV
“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
At times as believers we are tempted to be scared that the rise of homosexuality or false religion will eradicate the Kingdom of God in Christ due to the noise or aggression they bring. But can I remind you that we were assured by the one who set up the church, the one who knows the end from the beginning that the gates of hell will not prevail. That means there will be challenges but the church (you) will surely win. The Kingdom of God thrives well in adversity! Praise God!
God knowing that our faith shall be challenged at times fiercely did not leave us ignorant how to prevail. He gave us the keys (the all- time secret to overcome the gate of hell) – exercising authority and fighting with the word of God in our mouth. So when we face or encounter the enemy, we do not need to lift a finger to fight but to speak words of affirmation or words of disapproval. That is more latent, more potent, more powerful than the matches, rifles or missiles of the enemy.
Remember life and death is in the power of the tongue. When the enemy of the Gospel or of your soul rises up, fight Him with your word. BIND HIM.
Say with me: Satan I bind all your evil works, plots and devices. I disallow your plans to come to pass in my life and in my territory. I bind and frustrate every personality fighting against the Kingdom of God in Christ. I decree that your plans shall fail. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I prevail over agents of satan and all their evil works in Jesus name.
