THE LIVING WORD OF GOD
Scripture: John 1:14
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
John 1:14 KJV
Jesus Christ is the living word of God. He was the word of God made into human flesh and He dwelt amongst men. As a human He suffered from rejections betrayal, pain just as each and every one of us does yet, He did not deny His Father. He remained focused on His goal of reconciling man unto His creator God. As Christ’s disciple, He wants you to emulate Him in all things. He wants you to reflect His glory everywhere.
The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God. The whole earth is full of gross darkness and it needs your light. No one lights up a candle and puts it under a bushel. What would you do to light up the world? These are the end times. Christians will face more oppositions, persecutions and tribulations but God has promised that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Hold on to your faith and be an ambassador of Christ no matter what the circumstances are. Be a living epistle and live a transparent life. John 1:12 says, “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe in His name:” Power has being bestowed unto you to become Christ-like in all areas, so be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. There is abundant grace available for you to be the “living word of God” in this dark world. Dare to be a Daniel! Live for Jesus! The reward is great both on earth and heaven.
Prayer:
Lord, strengthen me and help me to be the light wherever I go. I am like a city build on a hill that cannot be hidden. Showcase your glory through me that many may come to your light in Jesus name I pray.
