Topic: LIVING FOR CHRIST.
Scripture: For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” — Philippians 1:21 (NKJV)
To live for Christ means to let Him be the centre and purpose of our lives. As believers, when we are born again, we no longer live for ourselves, but for the One who saved us. Paul’s declaration in Philippians 1:21 reveals the heart of a believer who has surrendered everything to Jesus—his life, desires, and ambitions are completely aligned with Christ.
Living for Christ means making Him the priority in everything we do. It means reflecting His love in our relationships, sharing His truth with others, and seeking His will above our own. It’s about daily surrender—letting go of selfish desires and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide our actions, decisions, and thoughts. When Christ is at the centre, our purpose shifts from living for temporary things to living for His eternal kingdom.
So how do we live for Christ? First, we seek Him through His Word and prayer, allowing Him to transform our minds and hearts. Second, we obey His commands and walk in His love, serving others with the same compassion He shows us. Finally, we share the gospel, living as a light in the world, pointing others to the hope found in Him.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help me to live fully for you. Teach me to surrender my life daily, to seek your will, and to reflect your love in everything I do. May my life glorify you in every way. Amen.
