Topic: DON’T GIVE UP.
VERSE OF THE DAY: Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me and heard my cry.
The 1st day of the month is an opportunity to start again and start afresh. No matter what you have experienced in the pass months, you have a fresh chance to start again. God intends for his children never to give up in life. Patience is one of the strongest virtues of the believer.
In fact one of the fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5: 22 is called Longsuffering – which is a synonym for patience. Never give up on life. Sometimes, you discover that your miracle is just around the corner at that time when you want to give up. Always wait for Gods time. The miracle may not come exactly when you want it, but it will surely come at Gods ordained time. Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that after ye have done the will of God, Ye might receive the Promise.
The above scripture is so powerful; it teaches us that patience is important if we must obtain the promise. When God has made a promise to you, or when you believe God for his word to be fulfilled in your life, then you must exercise patience. There may be a waiting time, praying time, fasting time- all this are attributes of patience that will eventually lead to the fulfilment of the promise. Waiting time is not a wasting time . You are not programmed to fail- You are programmed to succeed.
PRAYER : Lord, I declare into today being the 1st day of the month that your glory, power and anointing shall be made manifest in my life in Jesus name. Amen.
