Topic: WHO ARE YOU FOLLOWING?
VERSE OF THE DAY: Matthew 7:23. And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
We live in a social media generation where people’s lives are turned upside down. Many use social media to destroy lives, while others use it to uplift and encourage. Some share the truth, while others spread false messages.
Christians and followers of other religions use it for evangelism and to win souls. Unfortunately, Satan also uses social media to advertise his kingdom of hell and mislead people through his agents. Advertisement is a means of communicating recommendations to attract interest and engage viewers.
Satan is a skilled marketer who sells lies. His targets are Christians, aiming to instill doubt and mistrust in God. **Who are you following on social media?** Many internet pastors have no church or have left their churches because they refuse to be corrected, often criticizing their congregations.
Christians who don’t attend church may feel justified in not giving offerings or tithes, and they may misquote or misinterpret God’s word. Many Christians are misled by these messages and begin to doubt God. They may claim that the Bible was written by humans, not by God, and that there is no heaven or hell.
Christians must seek the truth, as it is the truth that sets you free. Always read your Bible when someone quotes scripture to understand the context and events that preceded those words. This will help you find the truth.
Prayer: Lord, give me wisdom to understand your words in Jesus name. Amen.
