JOHN 4:34
Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
Jesus was a Soul winner. He did not have the attitude of “They know where the Church is; if they want to be saved they can go there.” But rather, He went to them. He took the Word to them. Each soul was important to Him. Does this matter to you likewise? (Foxes have their holes, birds have their nests, but the Son of man has nowhere to lay His head) Does it motivate you to suffer or sacrifice to win another soul to the Lord? Jesus did. He gave up food, He gave up companionship, He gave up sleep, and on one occasion He left a great revival to reach a harlot in Samaria. The depth of your love can be measured by your love for what He loved, ‘’the Lost.’’ Jesus said it is easy to love someone who can respond and love back, but it is an entirely different situation to love someone unresponsive, and seemingly unlovable. Romans 5:6 says that while we were yet sinners, (unresponsive, unlovable, unregenerate) Christ died for us
If Christ died for us while we were yet sinners, why then do we find it easy and comfortable to condemn those souls that Christ died for. We are called to have the same passion like Christ. We are called to desire the salvation of the lost souls. We are called to make every sacrifice necessary for souls to be saved
Today- I pray the compassion of Christ Comes upon you and inspire you to reach out to the lost the same way Christ would.
PRAYER
Oh Lord saturate me with the passion of souls, let your heartbeat be my heart cry in Jesus name.
