Topic: ACKNOWLEDGE GOD.
Scripture: Proverbs 3:6 (KJV) – “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
We serve a loving and patient God who will never force Himself into our lives. Instead, He offers us the freedom to choose Him, giving us the power of free will. However, for us to truly walk in the right direction, we must learn to consistently acknowledge God in all our endeavours. But what does it mean to acknowledge God? It means more than just believing in His existence—it means intentionally inviting Him into every aspect of our lives, seeking His counsel, guidance, and wisdom in every decision we make.
When we acknowledge God, we are telling Him, “Lord, I need your direction. I trust you to lead me.” This is the promise of *Proverbs 3:6: when we acknowledge Him in all our ways, He will guide our steps and direct our paths. Acknowledging God is about surrender—letting go of our limited understanding and allowing His infinite wisdom to guide us.”
God wants to be involved in every part of your life—whether in your work, relationships, or personal struggles. He promises in *Psalm 32:8*, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” Acknowledging God opens the door for His divine guidance, helping us avoid missteps and find peace in His perfect plan.
When you bring every decision to Him, He ensures that you move in the right direction and makes your paths straight.
Prayer: Lord, today I acknowledge you in all my ways. I surrender my plans, trusting you to guide me according to your perfect will. Help me to listen for your voice and follow your direction. Amen.
