Topic: THE NEW BIRTHT..

Scripture Reading:“I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the kingdom of God.”— John 3:3 (NLT)

Reflection: Being born again signifies a profound transformation in a person’s relationship with God. It marks the beginning of a new life in the Spirit, where we are no longer bound by our past but are made new creations in Christ. This spiritual rebirth is not merely an event; it is the foundation of our faith and the gateway to experiencing the fullness of God’s kingdom.

When we accept Christ, God does not expect us to be perfect from day one. Instead, He invites us into a journey of transformation. The evidence of being born again manifests in our changed behaviors and attitudes, fueled by a growing desire to reflect God’s holiness in our lives. As Romans 3:13 warns, “Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive.”

This should not characterize those who have been transformed by the grace of God. God’s love and mercy towards us are overwhelming, and as recipients of this grace, we are called to extend that love to others. Our lives should be a testament to the change that has taken place within us. When we allow the Holy Spirit to dwell in us, He guides us in truth, helping us to see the world through God’s eyes.

The pivotal question we must ask ourselves is: Do we love and trust Jesus Christ? If your answer is yes, then rejoice! The treasures of Heaven are yours, and you are called to live in the fullness of that promise.

Prayer: O Lord, thank You for accepting me as Your son/daughter. I am made whole by the Spirit of God, and I am grateful for the new life I have in You. Help me to live in a way that reflects Your love and holiness, and let the Holy Spirit guide my every step. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.

Contemplation:   • In what ways have you experienced transformation since being born again?   • How can you better reflect God’s love and holiness in your daily life?

Action Step: Today, take a moment to reach out to someone and share the love of Christ with them. Whether through a kind word, an act of service, or simply listening, let the Holy Spirit work through you to spread the message of hope and transformation.
