TOPIC: FEAR NOT
Scriptures: Isaiah 41:10 KJV Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
God actually commands us not to FEAR or WORRY. Deepen your faith when you feel afraid: Fear seems to come easy these days. It’s all around us, scientists, media, sickness, shooting, using sharp instruments (knives on someone in the community, a bad report, and news about things that are detrimental, that makes the heart feels sick, and also bring a shock to the heart.
It doesn’t take much for a heart to be gripped with fear and live in a state of unrest. It’s not the big things that harms the heart, it’s the personal things. Like_ how will I pay the bills? How will my marriage survive ? When I am out of employment for a long time. Am I messing up my family life? And makes them uncomfortable, frustrated, and stressed out? What if I never get married? Will I ever feel worthy;… There are a lot of what if’s in the life of People who are filled with fear.
When you meditate too much on the doctor’s report – fear will come. When you meditate too much on the war and rumours of war in the media – fear will come. If you want to live a fearless life, meditate more on the word of God . The word drives away fear. Amen
PRAYER: Lord give me a heart filled with the word and not a heart filled with fear in Jesus name.
