Topic:POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS
Foundational Scripture: “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,” “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.” (Philippians 2:9-10 NKJV).
Every born -again Christian, must reflect the character of Jesus. He humbles Himself for humanity and His gospel must reflect our life. When you humble yourself in obedience to His commands, you can be certain of his precious promises. Whatever you face, your first option must always be to call upon the Name of Jesus Christ. At His Name demons tremble, His hands heal the sick. “In My Name (Jesus) they will cast out demons, heal the sick” (Mark 16:17-18 NKJV)
When you are feeling down and in need of direction, call upon the Name of Jesus and He shall set you free. “And whatever you ask in My Name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son “If you ask anything in My Name, I will do it” (John 14:13-14 NKJV)
In year 2024, after ministering in a Church in Pakistan, I prayed for the congregation. A man walked to me using his walking frame and asked me to pray for him. I prayed for him in the name of Jesus Christ. I took his walking frame from him and encouraged him to take a short walk in faith, which he did. He walked to his seat without using the walking frame.This man was healed and delivered in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ. Glory to God!
There is power in the Name of Jesus Christ to heal and deliver.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank for the powerful Name of your Son Jesus Christ, that can make anything impossible – possible in the powerful name of Jesus. In Jesus Name. Amen
