JUSTIFIED AND ACQUITTED
Verse of the day: Romans 4:21-25
“And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”
If you believe today that God raised up Jesus from the dead, you will automatically become justified irrespective of your dirty and injurious past. You will also be absolutely acquitted! Isn’t it amazing? Jesus came to this earth because of you. When He died on the Cross He had you in mind.
You may have lived a wasted life of sin and crime. But all can change today if you can just believe that when Jesus was crucified on that Cross your sins were paid for in full and simply repent and ask for forgiveness.
You don’t need to continue to struggle with guilt and self condemnation. See Paul the Apostle’s conclusion: “And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.”
Romans 8:30 NIV. God pre-arranged your deliverance long time ago that is why He is calling you at a time like this. Do not harden your heart. Receive this free offer of salvation. Once you accept this called you become justified and the glory of God will overshadow you.
Prayer: Oh Lord, I return to you in repentance. I am sorry for my rebellion and stubbornness. Wash away my sins. Thank you for forgiving me, justifying and acquitting from all charges I deserve. I praise your Holy name.
