SCRIPTURE: EXODUS 2:29
Moses replied, “When I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands in prayer to the Lord. The thunder will stop and there will be no more hail, so you may know that the earth is the Lord’s.
The realm of the supernatural ought to be the natural habitat for every born again believer. But what we see today is the absence of spiritual power because of lack of prayer. For many today, prayer is the weakest link in their chain of Christian experience. Their prayers are not very meaningful, and there is a lack of satisfaction in their prayer lives. But may I say to you, our Lord never intended for it to be that way. He said: “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” (John 14:13–14 NKJV.
Prayer is vital, real, and powerful. In his epistle to the Ephesians, Paul presented the armour that the believer is to put on in order to meet the enemy, Satan. Every bit of that armoury is for defence, with the exception of two weapons of offense, both of which are to be wielded in the power of the Holy Spirit. One of those is the sword of the Spirit, or the Word of God. Ephesians 6:18 says Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. Prayer, through the Holy Spirit, is a weapon of offense against Satan. You can’t get much more powerful than that.
If we are to operate in Power and glory like Moses and our Lord Jesus Christ, then we must learn thier most potent secret- Prayer.
PRAYER
I am a man of the Spirit, living the supernatural life in Christ Jesus. I declare my dominion over sin, sickness and diseases. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. In Jesus Name Amen.
